Nelson Productions Inc is a family run business that enjoys photography, videography, music, multimedia, and the graphic arts. We enjoy capturing and being a part of one of the happiest and most important days in the lives of the people we film for.
John Nelson graduated from USC with a BS in engineering. In 2003 our oldest son, Shawn, graduated summa cum laude from OSU in computer science engineering. Rachel and Sarah Nelson have now both graduated from OSU also summa cum laude with Business Administration degrees in Marketing. Hannah Nelson is transferring to OSU this year and Jonathon is at Community College learning the graphic arts. All have been trained in the arts of multimedia and videography. Annette Nelson is sales and customer relations.
The Nelson family began filming with Nelson Entertainment as a way to create and produce independent films. We were captivated by the beauty and emotion of weddings when we filmed several of Shawn’s friend’s weddings. As a result, we started Nelson Productions Inc. in July of 2003.
We are members of WEVA (Wedding and Event Videographers Association) and we have attended three years of conferences and seminars sponsored by the top companies and professionals in the world of wedding videography. We also attended NAB Post production World, sponsored by the top companies and professionals in movie and commercial editing. Through these events we stay up-to-date on the latest advances in the ever-changing industry of multimedia. We are also a professional production company and recently videotaped a segment of the Montel Williams Show for Paramount pictures. We truly enjoy being a part of these special days and having the privilege of being able to create videos that will preserve your memories forever.
